I can’t say enough wonderful things about the Bristol. My Mom lived on her own in Florida enjoying life then fell and broke her hip. Physically she healed great, up and walking within hours. Unfortunately she wasn’t as lucky with the anesthesia. Her mind never came back. We moved her to NY and within days we realized we couldn’t care for her. We found the Bristol assisted living. First it’s important to say for many it is not an easy transition to Assisted Living even with a very supportive and interested loved one. And even with the best facility. Having said that I am so happy that we made the decision to move our Mom to The Bristal and now that she’s been there for 7 months she very feels comfortable and happy. It was a hard decision for my aunt to move out of her home but the move to Bristal has brought many new friends into her life and she looks forward to each new day. The attentive, responsive, and friendly staff have gone out of their way to make this new home what she had hoped for. Her family is very happy to see these wonderful changes in her life and tips its hat to The Bristal for its engaging activities and the creative atmosphere it offers in its beautiful new facility.
After personally taking care of my father for over a year after the passing of my mom, I was exhausted and unable to provide the quality of care he needed. I met with Jen Rubino at the Bristal who provided a series of care options that truly met our needs.
