It was a hard decision for my aunt to move out of her home but the move to Bristal has brought many new friends into her life and she looks forward to each new day. The attentive, responsive, and friendly staff have gone out of their way to make this new home what she had hoped for. Her family is very happy to see these wonderful changes in her life and tips its hat to The Bristal for its engaging activities and the creative atmosphere it offers in its beautiful new facility.
After personally taking care of my father for over a year after the passing of my mom, I was exhausted and unable to provide the quality of care he needed. I met with Jen Rubino at the Bristal who provided a series of care options that truly met our needs. Love everything about this Assisted Living community for my family!
About 6 months before Mom moved to the Bristal in Mt. Sinai, she was adamant about NOT moving to assisted living. She really was not clear what living there would be like. Unfortunately, the quality of her life began to decline. Even though she had aides at home , she was lonely much of the time, she wasn't eating right, she lacked socialization, she wasn't enjoying the things that she used to.
