I can't say enough positive things about the care my 95 year old mother received at the Bostonian. The entire staff was responsive to her needs. From day one they tended to her physical and occupational rehabilitation, all of her nursing needs, as well as social activities. I visited her often and it was not unusual for me to find a resident assistant spoon feeding her when she was too weak to manage herself. My mother got to the Bostonian on 9/23/2024 after having an amputation due to an ulcer in her toe. We started having issues from the beginning. I informed the front desk at her unit that my mother had an appointment postop on 9/30 when the appointment day came they did not schedule her transportation so she missed that appointment they tried to make up by scheduling an appointment 8days later. My mother was transferred here after Marian Manor closed. My family and I can not be happier with the level of care and attention my mother has received. They understood that she would need time to adjust and they allowed for that, never pushed or forced her to any thing she wasn’t comfortable doing like activities etc. The have a gently demeanor and treated very well. My mum n law had become a resident of the Bostonian in November 2023. She has dementia and Alzheimer's. They have a wonderful staff and her nurse Gloria has been by our side helping with her. I get teary eyed when I think of Gloria and all the staff who spend everyday taking care of her and helping us through this difficult disease. I am so grateful for the dedication them give and care. I really appreciate how the staff took care of Mom while at the Bostonian.. . Gloria, Phaedra Bristol ,Sue Mobley , Bonita to just name a few were very compassionate to our family. The bedside comfort the thoughtful suggestions and warm words when needed. I actually felt the love of the staff when walking in for the first time and my family really appreciated it..
