I was in town with my girlfriend for a weekend getaway and booked the Sauna + Cold Plunge Private Suite for two. Check-in was fast and easy, but we were confused after leaving the locker room and seeing other people around. I recently visited The Bodhi Spa for a much-needed day of relaxation. I started with the two-hour Water Journey, which was incredibly soothing, and followed it with what was probably the best massage of my life with Janae. The space was spotless, and every staff member I encountered was polite and helpful.
So so so good
This is now my favorite aquatic venue for self-care. Staff was very courteous and helpful, from answering my questions online to helping me with my locker when it was stuck. They are also attentive to your needs in multiple ways: complimentary hand towels, water to drink, and my favorite was a device to dry your bathing suit with plastic bags to carry it home and not soak my tote bag! The place is gorgeous but it’s truly not tailored for a relaxing time. I understand the effort and approach but a few things should be considered. When booking a water therapy session keep in mind it is “6+ people” in there with you in a not so spacious space! We had maybe 10-12 people in ours. I felt overcrowded, overwhelmed, overstimulated, all of it unfortunately. My mother and I couldn’t even go through the stages as we were instructed to because of the crowding!
