We had to move our elderly neighbor into the nursing home back in the fall because he needed more care than we could give him. The facility was always clean, never had a bad smell and the nurses and staff cared for the residents like family. It sort of became a second home for us when we would visit. Staff always answered our questions and handle all concerns. Our neighbor got to spend his remaining months in great care and we appreciate having that peace. Communication is the key. Unfortunately, my wife is there now for re-hab. According to her, she's already been accused of things she swears never happened. No contact from them to me about any irregularities. One of my first visits I was told I could take her outside to smoke, etc. No problem. Today I was rudely told I had to sign her out if I wanted to take her outside. I said I never had to sign her out before and they should "all" have to follow the rules if that was the case. I was informed that she didn't care what happened before, I had to foll... read more

The staff is always friendly and so willing to help. I love seeing all of their smiling faces when I visit my family. The building always looks so good and smells nice.
