The wait time at Nordstroms was extraordinarily long. The Black Tux team was understaffed and over booked. The fitting itself went relatively quick when we finally got around to it. Our wedding party had plenty of issues. Last minute cancellation of the fitting reservations. One guy never received his pants, while the rest of his tux arrived with no issue. Waited an hour for the single sales rep to serve one couple. Didn’t check in once and ultimately had to leave before being helped. I’d like to compliment the ambiance but that would be stolen valor on account of this being a kiosk in the Nordstrom building. Avoid if possible.
Horrible experience. We dropped in, needed an appointment, so we made an appointment; then we came back and they told us we were planning too early (even though we put our wedding date on the appointment submittal). Rather than calling us to tell us to come back closer to the wedding, they wasted our time. Αlso, when we showed up, for our appt., they had multiple appointments at the same time, with only one desk to sit at. Save your time, just go to Men’s Warehouse.
We booked an appt for this over a week in advance and they called us less than an hour before our appt saying they had to reschedule - We left from southern Rochester MN (which is a 2 hour drive) and were less than 30 minutes away when they left a voicemail and said they needed to reschedule. Totally unprofessional - we had appts set up for after this that can’t be done until we knew what size and color the grooms and groomsmen would be wearing.
We scheduled an appointment at 12 and an hour before hand they said “sorry we have to cancel your appointment due to unseen circumstances” then I tried to call and no one answered. We drove about 2 hours to get there and were basically there when they cancelled. They then offered us a $20 coupon for our next suit rental. We won’t be using their service again. Very poor service
