I had a great experience today shopping at The Birds and the Beads. Peter was very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure that I walked out with exactly what I needed to complete my project. I also had the chance to peek into a class and met Joann the instructor. Joann is not only talented, she is also very welcoming. Her work is absolutely beautiful and I am looking forward to taking one of her classes. Thank you again, Peter and Joanne!
I haven't been to Birds and the Beads for years. Felt uncomfortable, always being stared at. I went in today and the new manager/owner was very pleasant. We talked about the beading craze. He did not follow me around the store. The whole vibe is very different. If you haven’t been you need to go there.
Pleasantly surprised by this shop. Huge assortment of beads and supplies, from seed beads to semi precious gemstone beads and everything in between, this shop has it. I see myself becoming a regular here. So much better than the big box crafting stores.
