Absolutely shocked with the service. Both the Birches and the Oak medical practices are connected, with the same unhelpful Manager. No appointments, unprofessional consultants, confusion at all times of contact. For example, the receptionist booked me to obtain a sick note after consultation with the midwife, but the consultant refused to process one. Some of the reception staff are incredibly rude, I just called to ask for some prescriptions before I go away for the Christmas break next week and the rudeness I received from one of the ladies in the surgery was appalling, yes I know a couple of the items are not on my repeats as somehow they got lost in transit when we first moved to Scunthorpe but she could have just said you will need a review and I will arrange that now for you rather than been absolutely vile with me over the phone I'm surprised the individual hasn't ... read more
This is really a minus 5 review. Very rude and uncaring staff,asked for a repeat prescription , abruptly told ,not signed off yet, 3rd time if calling, same abrupt wonan twice.This receptionist is notorious in the practice, she is so rude,unkind, uncaring and unhelpful,just ask other patients,she knows who she is,
This review is for the Ashby Clinic. Rang to enquire regarding an outstanding prescription having been contacted by Lloyds Direct who arrange prescriptions and delivery. I was spoken to by a female who told me I couldn't have my prescription (for asthma inhaler) unless I had my review. I explained that I couldn't have my review last year as the surgery had building work going on and were closed and that I had rung the Birches Ironstone Centre in the town to book another, but they said it was OK and to book one for July 2024.... read more
