Great wee shop, very knowledgeable and helpful: they were doing several other repairs but still managed to fit us in so we didn’t miss the ferry to Orkney.

I was bikepacking accross Scotland last year and that shop saved my trip. I had ergonomic issues with my handlebar and had to shorten it by a few cm. I did not feel confident doing it myself so the owner did it for me and, while I asked how much I owned him, he simply told me that the service was free and I could give money to the charity box if I wished. One of the nicest bike shop owner I have ever met (and I did visit a lot of bikeshops in my life!).

While cycling up to John O’Groats had some mechanical issues. Stopped at The Bike shop and Sam was just excellent ensuring the bike was roadworthy and high lighting the issues that need further attention but which would take longer to fix… which I eventually had done on my rest day. Thank you Sam..as I then had the confidence to know I could get through several days of cycling..

Perfect Bike Shop! Extremely reliable, friendly and competent! Sam helped me a lot to get my bike ready to travel back home after LEJOG. Thank you very much - I really appreciate!
