Really dishonest business. I was told my repair was going to cost in the range of $20-$25, which is fair for a broken cable for my gear shifter, but they "found" more broken stuff inside the bike to fix without letting me know, charging me for a total of $56, which is more than double the estimated cost. I take issue with the fact that I was given no notice before this repair took place. You don't get to take someone's bike and fix whatever you want and then randomly charge them. Customer service is real bad! I have ordered some stuff and I had to write after two weeks because they did not have the item in stock and they did not let me know.They suggested a replacement item which I accepted and again after two weeks I had to inquiry why I did not receive the item, and again they said that also the proposed replacement was not in stock. I bought a new 1992 Cannondale “beast of the East” there many, many moons ago, and though almost every component has been replaced a few times over, I still ride and enjoy it today (see pics). Likewise, I recommend The Bicycle Shop today, just as I did then.
As soon as you walk into The Bicycle Shop you have new friends that happen to be experts on cool things on two wheels! It is always a pleasure.

I’ve had 2 bike fittings done here by Erik, highly recommend this service. Recently had a broken bolt machined out and they inserted a helicoil. Saved me a huge headache and made it so I can put a rack back on my bike. Thanks!
Bought a Bintelli e-bike there last year. Love it! But I was riding at the gamelands recently and my kickstand fell off. I stopped by yesterday and a very lovely young man re-attched my kickstand for free! It was a beautiful day in Central PA and I suspect he would have preferred to have been out on his own ride, but I really appreciated his help!
