I went to Bicycle Place to have pre-purchased fenders and rear racks installed, and unfortunately I was not satisfied with the quality of the service relative to the price charged. After my very first ride, all of the screws came loose, and I even lost one of the nuts. Since it happened over the weekend, I had to visit the REI bike shop for a replacement, which they kindly provided free of charge. I thought there pricing was a little high for a brake cable that I was going to install myself. They tried to charge me $12.50 per cable. I questioned the salesperson about the price. He quickly changed the price to $9.50 like he was doing me a favor. I said no thanks and drove over to another shop where they charged me $5 per cable. (Most shops charge $3-$6 for a cable). Otherwise I think it is a good shop and probably have good mechanics.
