Travelling through to Alice Springs with 3 caravans we stopped at the Bellum Hotel for the night. Had one of the best pub meals I’ve had in a long time and the Owner and staff were super friendly. Well worth a stop in if you are in the area
Great pub love it... pity there isn't a courtesy bus or user... but the food is plentiful a d delicious, the atmosphere so friendly and eclectic! Love the little lounge area... staff are so lovely this is my favourite pub in Mt Gambier!
Exactly what a country pub should be. Cozy, warm and welcoming. The staff, owners and the regulars are all friendly and accommodating and creating real community. I enjoyed a decent glass of wine and a huge portion of chips for a very reasonable price. Love that they let you free camp in the car park. I hope this pub is successful for many years to come.
What great little spot to spend the night! Meg and Bob are super friendly, wish we could have been there on a night with live music! We pulled up with a van and a 4wd and the spots are relatively level, and not much noise for being so close to highway. They were gracious enough to open up a room so we could have a hot shower too! Definitely recommend it as a stopping point!
Beautiful hotel pub, great atmosphere, and even better hosts. Ben and Meg are beautiful welcoming people, hope to find more amazing places like Bellum Hotel along the road. Thank you for your hospitality and great vibes!
