I worked here for approx 6 years. I left before it changed to the new owners. What I will say is that iam absolutely shocked that some employees that were then working as care staff are now in management positions! There are a few, very few carers that do genuinely care. It's sad I feel sorry for the residents. Don't believe the hype!
I worked at this home for over five years. I left here in August due to been taken over by new ownership last year and having new management. I'm all for change ! But I believe its not the case here. Poor management, support not given when needed! Not approachable and when approached poor response and bad attitude!. Very few care staff who actually care for the residents and towards the home . Poor menu choices and poor quality of food . Not enough food at mealtimes for those with larger appetites (mainly at teatime) ice lol... read more
Staff do not have time to do what they need to do. Important things like repositioning are very over due. To many agency staff and staff expected to work short poor management.
