My parents moved to the Barclay 2 1/2 years ago, and I could not be happier with their choice. This is especially the case now, six months after my stepdad‘s passing. My mother is only alone if she wants to be. The Barclay staff and the Barclay residents are warm and kind. And my mother loves the exercise classes, especially in the pool!
The Barclay has been an amazing experience. Every service imaginable is provided. All staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. The apartments are lovely and the choice of floor plans are extensive. The food is very good and the daily activities are beyond your wildest imagination. I am very happy that we chose this retirement Community.
We moved my mother into The Barclay in August of 2023 and have loved every minute of it. The community, activities, dining, staff, and amenities are all excellent. My family is loving that our mother is so happy in this next stage of her life. What a blessing The Barclay is!!
My parents have been living at the Barclay for 3 years. They LOVE it.. and our entire family is beyond thrilled with the staff, facilities, dining areas, and social programs. The staff is like family - and take the time to get to know residents and their families, and are always willing to help... above and beyond... when assistance is needed. The Barclay is TOP NOTCH and the best independent living community in Charlotte. The food is excellent and the people that work there are very helpful and supportive of the needs of the residents. We looked at several options and this is by far THE BEST! They supported my mother and helped her navigate her life after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.
