Moving to the Barclay was a saving grace for my in-laws. They moved in two years ago not knowing a soul other than one staff member. Upon arrival, they were thoughtfully paired with a resident “ambassador” (a fellow German!) who showed them the ropes, offered companionship, and introduced them around—easing their transition. My wife and I have lived in the SouthPark area since 1979. In 2023 after looking at 2 othet senior living centers we moved to The Barclay. We knew no one when we moved in to the Barclay but after almost 3 years we feel like we have been friends with the residents our whole life. It has been easy to make friends.
