I can’t recommend Devin Wurman at the Balance Center highly enough! I was lucky to meet her just 5 days after my onset of vestibular neuritis - I was absolutely miserable. After a very thorough exam she explained what’s going on with me and guided me then for the next 4 weeks through a program of exercises that made me improve greatly. She is extremely knowledgeable. I‘m so thankful that I found her.
I have suffered from dizziness issues for 35 years. I have seen many doctors, but the dizziness has persisted – until I saw a neurologist who diagnosed PPPD and recommended therapy. I had never heard of PPPD, but I made an appointment with Devin at the Balance Center anyway. I’m glad I did. Devin has been a pleasure to work with. The Balance Center has cured me of the extreme spinning episodes I was having. It was scary as I didn’t know what was causing it. I booked with Dr. Devin Wurman and on the first appointment she explained to me what was causing it. Then with scientific rigor and lauded expertise she confirmed the cause of the spins and which ear was the cause. Devin is my vestibular therapist at the Balance Center. Having experienced vertigo many times, I feel I have finally found someone who is professional, empathic and extremely competent in helping me with my issues. She gives me the appropriate exercises and the assurance that I may return to her for assistance at any time in the future. She provides skills to use for my vertigo and also importantly, a peace of mind in dealing with it. I highly recommend her!
I cannot speak highly enough about the incredible service I received from Teri from the beginning of her session till the end of the session. Teri is not only extremely knowledgeable in the vestibular rehabilitation but also was genuine passionate about helping me regain confidence and control over my mobility.
