We moved from a house to an apartment at The Avenue in our early 60s. The transition was easy once we were prepared for a major downsize. It’s a lovely place to live: friendly community, excellent staff, fresh & clean throughout, many facilities, beautiful gardens and landscaping. Quiet and peaceful throughout. Active social life if you want it. Great cafe -that’s important! It’s been a really positive choice for us.
The Avenue is such a wonderful friendly carefree place to live …my hubby and myself have been here almost six years …so handy to everything we need …love it …
We've lived at The Avenue for just over 3 years now and love it. It's proximity to The Plaza, (a 10 minute walk), the in house cafe, the facilities and the social aspects are all contributing factors. We've joined a Scrabble group, a chess group, a Yoga class and play table tennis. If you want to join in things you can but if you want to stay in your room with a good book, that's okay too.
