A massive thank you to Spencer at The Athlete's Foot Wollongong! I have wide, flat feet and needed maximum cushioning to help with joint pain. Spencer was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, taking the time to understand my specific needs (Extra Wide fitting). Thanks to his expert help, I walked out with the perfect shoe—the Hoka Bondi 9 Extra Wide. The fit is fantastic, and the relief is immediate. I highly recommend visiting this store and seeing Spencer for the best fit advice!
I agree with Mario’s review of a March. Went in there late August to renew my 3 year old Brooks which I loved. I was told replacement was not in stock ( I should have checked the previous reviews on this store) but the Brooks Ghost Max was available. My foot was measured by the scanner and I was fitted . Around march this year I went to Athlete's foot Wollongong to find appropriate running shoes as I had pain in my foot from the ones I had previously as they've been worn out. Sales person did computer scan and offered me "perfect joggers". I never had so much pain in my foot after run and blisters in whole my life. Joggers are way too wide and lose and extremely unstable. $248.00 down the drain and will never go back there again. I'd rather order $20.00 from Temu and throw them in the bin after. Sunday morning I stopped by The Athlete’s Foot to buy some socks and ended up doing a footstep test out of curiosity. Liam was incredibly professional , he shared so much knowledge about running and helped clarify all my questions about which shoes would suit my runs best. Highly recommend!
Just want to give a big shout out to Liam who served me today. I walked in without any idea of what type of shoe I needed but after having my feet measured and explaining what they will be used for, he came out with three awesome styles of shoes, the man has taste! Was a hard decision but walked out with my forever shoe (until the next pair). Cheers Liam, you’re a legend! 🤩
