The service at Highpoint Athlete's Foot was good in that Chris sold me the correct shoe size in the brand recommended by my podiatrist. However the positive experience was marred by telling me that because I was purchasing shoes costing over $250, I was entitled to a free pair of sox. That was not the case, the invoice clearly indicates I was charged for them. Other buyers beware!
Dishonest and incompetent staff who make illegal claims. They push the wrong product and ill fitting shoes, sell products that immediately fail and then even the manager lies about Australian Consumer Law, saying it only applies for 30 days, an illegal claim. Even when proven a lie, they still refuse to honour it. The generic responses to consistently bad and unlawful experiences here indicate theyre rotting from the top, and dont actually do anything to resolve issues with the individuals or make right with customers.
Went in with the intention of buying myself a pair of shoes for long distance running. Met with Chris and it was a lovely experience all around, extremely patient and answered questions that I had. I found that I had the improper size for my shoes and corrected it, and now I’m very comfortable when running, Thanks Chris!
After straining my ankle tendons, my doctor recommended I go get proper shoes for work. I came in and Chloe was a delight and so helpful. Even when there were IT challenges with the stride scanner, she managed to use the scan of my feet to determine a few good options that suited my work needs. She was patient, considerate and very informative.
