Today I had my first massage with Emily, and it was phenomenal. She listened to my areas of concern, and used massage techniques that helped alleviate the pain/tension. I prefer a lot of pressure, and she maintained that for all 90 minutes of the massage. I HIGHLY recommend Emily! You will leave feeling much more relaxed and pain-free!
I have been going to the Art of Health since 2015. They are phenomenal at what they do and it has been a joy to watch their growth and evolution since being a customer. They have helped me with a variety of issues from TMJ, lumbar/disc herniation issues, plantar fasciitis, and a bunch of others that come with a sedentary lifestyle and getting older. I cannot recommend them enough for the quality of skills combined with human centered care and customer service.
I was very pleased with Peter and his treatment of my muscular problem. He was knowledgeable and competent with his therapeutic massage. I felt better immediately after my first session and felt even better the day after. I expect to continue with Peter in the months ahead.

Phenomenal professional massage studio in the Fairlington neighborhood just up the hill from Shirlington. Emily was polite and professional, and was clearly a professionally trained and certified massage therapist as exemplified through her skills fixing my back. The rooms were comfortable and came with a bed warmer, and the relaxation music was enough to put you to sleep. I will be back!
