After being inspired by art museums in Spain, I decided to step outside my comfort zone and learn oil painting. I was so incredibly lucky to find the Art Academy of Somerset County - the instruction is simply fabulous. Halley Murphy is a great instructor, and her teaching method allows her students to see their painting skills progress every week. “Artist are not born they are trained” This is Kevin’s moto and it is absolutely true! His program is wonderful and effective. He really has it figured out. Its really enjoyable to see so many students advance and paint really great artwork through his program.Highly recommend!
I’ve been going here for a very long time the atmosphere and teaching practice is amazing. You learn so much in a very quiet safe environment. Learning a great deal with paint and so many more tools that you can use for a lifetime really teaching you the technique of the old masters.
