NEVER put a family member in this place. If you have one there it's best you get them out. This place used to be very nice but it went downhill very fast. The kitchen is always out of food and drinks and the cooks there do not know how to make an omelet. It's a disgrace. I once came to visit my aunt and I couldn't believe what I was seeing! A housekeeper was caring for the residents. They were short staffed so whoever was available was taking up the residents. This place is horrible. The nursing staff and Don were the only ones that were caring. The other management, namely the VP of operations and the executive director are idiots and liars. They promise the staff and the families one thing, and they do another. THe families are being blindsided. They are short staffed, have no supplies, and no air conditioning. Beautiful facility, don't be fooled by the disguise. Check out who is running the place after business hours and on the weekends. Not sure I would put a plant in the place let alone my Mother or Father. Definitely not recommended at those prices those people deserve an entire staff of qualified individuals...not the cheapest pickens from the scrap plie.
As of today, March 6th 2012, I am higly disappointed with this facilitie's nursing staff. Their head of nursing while not naming names was very rude and unpersonable. When I first brought my mother here to live I was please and now am making arrangements for her to move into a more caring, nurturing center. Sincerly, -Dissatisfied
In the begining when the arbors first opened it was a beautiful and enchanting home. In the last two months it has gone down hill very fast. No staff , housekeepers are taking care of the residents, neglectful resident care. Unable to talk to administrator. It takes over 30 minutes for any resident to get help for bathroom use. I do not recommend this home.
I would not recommend this facility. When it first opened it was quite nice and had a bright future. As time has went on the quality has diminished in it's staff. I would recommend looking into other facilities before even thinking of gaining any info on The Arbors. -anonymous
