Every time I stumble upon one of these local gems, I always wish I could stay longer. The room was extremely spacious, with a full kitchen, living room, and separate sleeping area. Perfect for my whole family. Very quiet.

this is the best place to eat at Whittier. we had scallops and salmon. it was deep fried. It was good , very nice people. it has a look of a locals place.
The rooms are like small dorm rooms. Little room, beds not great, 1 pillow per person (I'm a 2 pillow person). Hard to find front desk, the help seemed to be annoyed when we asked for things. No air! Room very stuffy. I do realize it doesn't normally get that hot here but one some window open doesn't help. A long walk from the train. Looks like they has a shuttle van but no one offered to drive us! 15 minute walk with large luggage wasn't great! Not recommended!
