I am writing to share concerns regarding a recent visit my husband and I had at Altar Spa on 2/1/2026. I did send this to altar spa in a private email but did not receive any reply or acknowledgement. We chose Altar spa based on its reputation as a luxury experience and the information presented on your website; however, our experience fell significantly short of those expectations, especially given the premium cost of the services. The hubby and I had an amazing experience at The Altar Spa! We both got pedicures and were so impressed by the service. Candace was absolutely AWESOME—not only was she great at what she does, but she was also incredibly sweet. The owner was so accommodating and immediately adjusted the AC for us when the room felt a little warm, and the front desk staff was equally welcoming and kind. If you’ve ever had a massage where you spend 75 minutes internally negotiating with yourself like, “Just get through the calves… you can do this,” then you know the struggle. That was not my experience at Altar Spa yesterday. My 75-minute deep tissue massage might be one of the best I’ve ever had. Lady who answers the phone is very course, very dry, not very helpful. Then said the “price is $195 without a tip”… idk I feel like expecting a tip off the bat is kinda wild. Banks at The Altar Spa was absolutely AMAZING. He took the time to talk me through what type of massage would be best for me postpartum and really listened to what my body needed. I felt completely comfortable, informed, and cared for the entire time. The results were incredible. If you’re postpartum (or honestly anyone needing thoughtful bodywork), I cannot recommend him enough!
