Heiko, has been treating me, mainly for an arthritic knee, for the past 18 months. My alternative was to wait possibly years, until the pain was significantly worse, so I could become eligible for surgery. Though the worst was resolved within the first maybe 6 months, I elected for a 'maintenance program', visiting only once a month, and now think surgery may never be required. I have had two injuries, one was tennis elbow and the other a torn ligament in my left thumb. I started out getting physiotherapy and found although the physio was working it was very slow. On both occasions I then underwent acupuncture and had a very positive improvement in a fairly short space of time and within 6 to 8 sessions the injuries had healed completely.
