I had my first fire cupping and acupuncture session for chronic headaches with Johanna last week. She told me to expect flu like symptoms for a day or two; in fact I didn’t feel great the rest of the day. However, to my surprise, I slept like a rock that night and awoke feeling amazing the next day! I first went to see Johanna after I fractured my wrist and developed Dupuytren’s contracture nodules on my palms. I was told by multiple doctors that “the treatment for Dupuytren’s was no treatment”, but I was hopeful that acupuncture would help anyway. I started seeing Johanna a couple of months ago for a lingering shoulder issue (>6 months) that wasn’t responding to other treatments. After just a few acupuncture/firecupping sessions my shoulder was almost 100% back to baseline. She’s absolutely amazing. Love love love! Never leaving. In just three visits, I felt like myself again. She listens and takes notes about everything that may be going on and works through it all. She even teaches you about your own body!
