I recently attended an enlightening dementia experience, called the Virtual Dementia Tour (VDT). This program from Second Wind Dreams was graciously hosted by The Ackerly at Reed's Crossing. I was impressed to hear how Leisure Care and the team at Reed's Crossing invest in the education and support of their staff. It was my first time visiting the community and I wasn't disappointed! I recently took part in the Virtual Dementia Tour facilitated by Second Wind Dreams and hosted by The Ackerly at Reed’s Crossing. Having never been to this community before, I was struck by the facility’s stunning interior as I walked in. Beautiful and clean, and very tastefully designed! Staff were friendly, and I had a great overall experience. We received a tour of the memory care neighborhood following the VDT. Thank you for hosting this very interesting, educational event!!
