Allen Hirsh’s unique digital art is a luxurious exploration of abstract, surreal, and impressionist themes, very unexpectedly created with mathematics he creates himself. Allen Hirsh--the Abstract Gardener--uses digital tools to harness a mathematical mind and an artist's eye trained by years of coaxing beauty out of the earth to produce vivid works at the leading edge of contemporary art. Whether you like, as I do, his more representational pieces or prefer his truly abstract pieces--which look like he crawled inside Jerry Garcia's head during an especially long and spaced-out Grateful Dead jam--you should find numerous pieces to draw your attention and appreciation.
The artist combines his talents in mathematics and gardening to explore the natural world, with vivid colors, uplifting settings, and soaring interpretations. Each one-of-a-kind piece is deeply beautiful.
Allen creates his art using software he created himself. The results can be quite remarkable and beautiful. I am a proud owner of his art.
"The Abstract Gardener" (Allen Hirsh) uses math as a paintbrush to create spectacular visions of color and movement using subjects captured in a simple photograph.
