Unfortunately, Texas RioGrande Legal Aid was not able to assist me at all. I reached out during a very stressful legal situation and did not receive any meaningful help or guidance. I was told by an intake representative that they “did not have the resources,” and there was no further discussion, advice, or referral offered. I understand that organizations have limitations, but legal aid exists to help people navigate situations like this, and in my case, no assistance was provided. Zero help. Irritated woman who answered when I called did everything she could to avoid helping or answering any questions I had. She gave irrelevant answers combined with a nasty attitude acting like my call was an inconvenience to her entire existence. Save yourself the stress & don't waste your time calling these worthless people.
