Texas Property Tax Protest has been a huge disappointment. I submitted my application back in May 2025, and six months later I still haven’t heard a single update or seen any progress. They almost never answer the phone, and on the rare occasions they do, the answers are vague and unhelpful. It honestly feels like they don’t care about their clients at all. I would strongly recommend staying away from this company.
Texas PVP is great! They were able to lower our value 70k (11%). They were super nice, easy to work with and handled everything! Thanks to Texas PVP my taxes will go down!!!!
Wanted to especially call out the work James has done over the last couple of years to support me. I have two properties with PVP, one is outside of the metroplex, and I greatly appreciate the achievements in lowering that other property!! I appreciate James always returning my calls and working so hard to get my value lowered again this year. Thank you!
James is outstanding at customer service. The type of professional you refer to family and friends. He gave me solid advice even though it cost him business. That's what real pros do. Customer needs first! I'll definitely call again if I need to contest my property taxes. Thank you for the help..!
I reached out to Ms Monica Waters at Texas PVP to help file a protest and she turned me down... She explained in detail that with the given evidence (comps, current tax level etc.) the amount we would get back would be less than cost of her service. But she went beyond that. She educated me on the details behind her decision and gave me some more information on how to file the protest myself (i.e. no cost) but yet with the best chance to get a refund.
