I would NOT Recommend this business at all!!! I purchased a reman lower unit for my 2006 Yamaha 225 VMAX HPDI engine on February 26th 2022. I was told by the owner I would get a $300 core charge back for my old lower unit. I sent Gary a text on March 1st saying I was shipping the old lower unit back to him to get the core refund. He responded and said there was no hurry! Now I know why! He never intended to refund the core charge at all! AS of April 29th 2022 I still have not received my core charge refund. I just wanted to say that Gary Farmer of Texas Outboards is a liar and a thief. I can prove my statement. In 2019 I bought a lower unit for my Mercury and paid for it and sent it back to the place he buys them and kept all my money when they credited him back and refuses to send me back my money or return my calls or e-mails. I also filed a complaint with the BBB and with the Federal Trade Comm. Do not do business with this man.
