I have been seeing Dr. Jaramillo for 4 or 5 years now. I was a nurse at St. Davids on the oncology unit, and she was/is one of the oncologists that had/has patients there. So I got to know her on a professional level first. I was always so happy when she was assigned to one of my patients. She would actually listen to the nurses and the patients regarding their plan of care, which is not a 100% of the time thing with all doctors. When I was able to see Dr Jaramillo for an appointment she was great and even the nurse drawing blood was so kind and fast, I didn’t feel anything with the amount of blood taken. I’ve called several times to get an appointment or just a call to review my results weeks after with Dr Jaramillo and have not heard anything back. The nurse has already gone through my results and said they look good (which I had to proactively call for instead of them calling me) then next step was simply being recommended to a blood bleeding spe... read more

I will say this for my first time being here- the doctor was amazing . The scheduling and communication with the staff is ridiculous. I was told I HAD to be there at 730. I’m 8 months pregnant my husband drove us down from Kyle / Maxwell area bout an hour drive . It’s fine we prepared for this but then I didn’t see the doctor til 840- why did I have to be there an hour early ? Dr was great . If I can give 0 stars I would. Been calling for a week just to " schedule" a appointment for infusions. Act like they didn't receive referral FIRST DAY. 3 different people always come to the line which are useless, just to come back to say the "scheduler is busy".. What? If you need infusions. DONT GO!! OHHHH FINALLY get to try to make the appointment......... give insurance info. They stated they were going to call me back.. never did. Have the nerve to say they care about your call. 🙄

Very Disorganized, No communication. One nurse calls saying maybe your mother haves labs because the doctor forgot to order a lab even though we went yesterday and then another nurse calls at 7pm leaving a message that my mother does not have labs and when coming to the appointment we are sent to the 3rd floor because she does have labs. Check in is nightmare. When the lady ask for the copay I pay the copay from my personal debit card and then the lady hands the receipt to my mother.
