You can never get a hold of anyone to talk to. They are still living in COVID time. OMG.
All other DPS offices around me, I couldn't get an appointment in the scheduler until August (this needs to be addressed), except for the Kerrville office. I was able to get in the same day. Honestly, this was the best experience I've had at a DPS / DMV office renewing my drivers license. I was in/out in 20 minutes from my appointment and the staff was friendly.
This loaction is top notch and the staff is pleasant and courteous. • However, I had to make a 66 mile drive here just to be able to get an ID the same day. The wait time in San Antonio was 1+ month to be seen. TEXAS, this is unacceptable. We pay taxes and also pay for the ID or license. We should be able to walk in and at least get an ID.
