Taxen house were very professionals recommended.
This is not a facility for elderly with disabilities such as mobility or cognitive issues. The rooms are too far away from the main house and the staff are not trained to accommodate elderly with special needs or deliver medication. There are not pull cords for emergencies, residence must walk across a large lawn to get to the dining room, and during winter it's almost impossible for any socialization to take place leaving an elderly person lonely and isolated. My daughter and family stayed here a couple of months ago and it was such a nice comfortable place for the family! would recommend to anyone!
Superb, caring management making an epic effort to revitalize the old long stay retirement village. They are offering RESPITE or short term stays for seniors who live with their adult children but cant travel, etc. My parents will be using them for my grandmother - we have vetted them out and are very much looking forward to having this wonderful option!
