I’m not used to giving poor reviews however travelers need to understand how isolated the location is…16 miles 3 unpaved and poorly maintained to get to/from the resort. The road destroyed my new Class A motorhome and car. The lodge doesn’t want you to know so I’m letting fellow travelers know. Be aware!!
Away from the rest of town and quite a drive to the park but Id say its worth staying here. The cabins comfortable, the staff were pleasant, even when busy. The cafe on site was a life saver and food was pretty good. Enjoyed our stay here.
This is an amazing very remote place. Without a moon you can't see your hand in front of your face outside at night. Never seen so many stars and the milky way. From the highway it's 16 miles paved road then 3 miles dirt road to reach the Teriingua Ranch, After you get off the highway it's about 40 minutes drive to the Teriingua Ranch Lodge. The rooms are setup with 4 units sharing a building. Get the "Mountain View" not the "Mountain Side Mountain View" for the best view. No TV or Microwave but the restaurant called Bad Bun... read more
