I do not recommend this paralegal service. I hired her to look after a Landlord and Tenant Board case. I had already done a majority of the work. After providing all my documents and having a hour and a half in person meeting to discus my needs, we signed retainer agreement for a flat fee. She tried to charge me more saying it was more work then what she initially thought it would be. She tried this twice. None of what she did fell outside of our signed retainer agreement. I was charged with a criminal offence and was extremely nervous so I spoke with this paralegal. I wasn’t sure if I was going to retain her but she kept saying that she needed $1000 prior to my first court date. I paid her $1000, she appeared at my court date and after getting the information from the crowns office, she suggested I plead guilty and spend time in jail.
