Wow!!! Opened this account many years ago for my disabled son who can't read or write due to the fact he has to have an account for his disability money to go to. He has automatic debit on all his personal bills and I've always deposited his checks with no problems for so many years. Two new girls just refused to deposit his loan check!!!! Telling me since my name was also on the account that the loan office would have to put it in my name????? After all these years I've never had a problem up till now!!! This is the worst bank in Sevierville area. Please take your business elsewhere, their employees are miserable, or at least they act as if. Their policies are horrible, their rates are stupidly high. They have a overdraft policy that is probably not FDIC insured. They rip people off, and by the actions of their employees, they probably rip them off too. If TN State where the only bank left I would probably never bank again.

Very unpleasant drive thru mng. I now go out of my way to TN. State bank on Dolly Parton prkwy, they allow my child ( under 18) to cash his checks and seem to always be ready to help there customers, unlike Forks of the river branch, which seems to be the only branch that does not allow this, by choice I was advised by drive thru mng.

Bank manager is rude and unhelpful. I've never had such problems at any other branch so avoid if possible.
