Horrific. Cult. Do. Not. Go. Here. Ever. Or any teen challenge programs. They claim to be all about Jesus and love but in reality it's a cult run by cultists. You're not allowed to ever look at the opposite sex. You are slave worked. They literally sit next to you when you make phone calls (CREEPY) which is ONLY 15 minutes a week and THEY listen to everything you say and if you talk bad about the program you'll have to leave. I attended Life Challenge for Women in Saginaw in 2022. My experience was deeply disappointing and, at times, harmful. The house was run by Katrina, whose leadership felt manipulative, controlling, and emotionally unsafe. Behind closed doors, her temper and behavior were distressing and left a lasting negative impact. I graduated from This Teen Challenge in March of 2004. Things I learned at TC, it's about Relationship w/Jesus, not religion. People aren't perfect, we give grace & give ourselves grace. TC gave me real structure, routine, chores & responsibilities that has stayed with me two decades later. We were blessed by local Pastors coming every week to teach Bible based classes, like a school. I loved it!!
