If you're cruising Route 66 through Tucumcari, Tee Pee Curios is definitely worth pulling into. We had a great time walking around and checking out all the unique stuff they had—everything from postcards and T-shirts to jewelry, toys, and plenty of quirky souvenirs. One of my favorite parts was seeing their classic neon lit up at night. Along with the Blue Swallow Motel, it was one of the few places still keeping that old Route 66 glow alive. It's sort of like a Museum. The memorabilia and items for sale are so much fun to look through. Every item is a piece of American history for sale. If you pass by you must stop inside. It's definitely part of the journey.
