I have been a member of TechCU for over twenty years and have never regretted it until today when I called customer service and spoke with Divya Srinivas to obtain my husbands member number for a HELOC he recently opened. Divya would not allow me to confer with my husband so that he could be authenticated on the account. All of this because we just wanted our member number in order to pay our loan in time. Specific: The people are friendly and very helpful. I am usually recognized by the regular staff there, so it is always nice to feel like I really matter enough for them to remember me. I've always enjoyed doing my banking with TechCU. I like the more personal atmosphere and banking experience I have by getting to sit at a desk with the tellers (rather than standing at a counter at a bank). General: I have always experienced better banking options available through Credit Unions than at banks. Credit unions do not charge fee... read more
