Used to be good. Now it’s just a hassle to get anything done. Been waiting 9 days for a cheque to clear. Limits on how much money you can withdraw daily. Customer service callback requests ignored.
I applied online for the Teachers Target Saving account, two weeks ago, they were suppose to call me within 2 business days, it has been two weeks. I’ve rang multiple times, including just now, waiting for an hour at times. I’ve been passed round and round without my knowledge, eg: I would be in the middle of talking and they would cut me off and place me on a transfer queue to another department. They're hit or miss. I've been with TMB for over 10 years. Some days they're good, but I've been finding more recently that they are not returning calls or messages, saying they'll do something but don't. Call wait times have been too long lately, an hour sometimes, and then you have to call back because they don't resolve the matter which they said they would, or they have told you the wrong thing. Looking to go elsewhere.
I updated the app and then needed to transfer $30 to someone and got asked for a security token (normally get one time password sms). No option to change to SMS. Tried calling but was on hold for 45 minutes. Tried messaging in app and got a standardised message that didn't help. Got told to use the Web chat icon on the Web site. There isn't one. Tried writing a general enquiry on the website, but the 'send' icon doesn't send the form. I'm a day later and still can't send the $30, and best of all, If I try to remove my money ... read more
Having to call up anybody from a goods and/or services centre can be one of the most frustrating things; yet I found it unbelievably easy with Teachers Mutual Bank. The customer service was excellent, being successful in solving my problem. Vanessa was a great help and I appreciated her quick yet thorough assistance. I would recommend this to anybody.
