I bought a $5.99 Too Good To Go blind box. The Taiwanese tea spot store is a fairly simple interior. The tgtg order came with two surprise drinks: a jasmine green tea and a milk green tea. The green tea was a bit bitter, while the milk tea seemed like it might be better. As for the topping boba pearls in the milk tea, they were on the harder side compared to other shops, but I couldn’t really tell any other difference in taste or texture. Great experience at Tea Maru yesterday. Found out about it through Groupon, and appreciate the fact that they make their own boba in house. Important note: Mango Boba is only on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! I got the Mango Slush with Strawberry Boba, which featured a nice layer of ice cream, mango slush (at 25% sweet), and delicious homemade boba. The place is small, mostly built for takeout but there are a few decent seats. Song selection immaculate.
