I had an appointment at TD Bank (1582 Bank Street) with Fozia Wasim to open a bank account. When she learned that I am Iranian, she initially refused to proceed, stating there was a "red notice" against Iranians. I had to explain that this information was incorrect. Only after making a phone to someone call she agree to open the account. However, when I later requested a bank draft, she refused again and told me to go to another branch, simply because of my nationality. Hire more employees there long lines and only two employees
Not a customer friendly branch, came in here to break a bill for some change for my business but was denied. Bcs I didn’t have an account they would not break a bill for some change. These red tape rules makes it difficult for businesses to run in this economy.
