This place is a disaster. Long lines, unimformed employeed. Ms. Eung doesn't know whats going on at all. She told me I couldn't pay off my loan without a bank draft even though I had already called in to see how to go about paying the loan and had spoken to and advisor on how to do it. After a brief argument she made a call and all the suddenly it was possible.. "we just need to confirm who you are and need to see the funds". No you dont. My funds. My business. Who else would come in n pay off my loan..? These people forget ... read more
Very inconsistent management, I deposit a couple Drafts and Cert checks every month, never have any issues with TD besides this branch, they say it’s TDs policy but then go on to explain the other deposits were discretionary, so it’s not a policy if the rules can be consistently bent. Also say holds are based on history, credit score and account balances, which also isn’t true as all of those things are substantially more than the drafts are ever made out for. Mortgage Renewal time. I was offered a 5 year fixed at 4.58% for 2 mortgages. I asked for the rate to be knocked down a bit as I could see a 3.99 at Cambrian credit union. After a week TD gets back to us and offers 4 38% down from 4.58% for a 5 year fixed. Needless to say I rejected the counter offer, booked an appointment with Cambrian, the switch over is fairly easy and I'm locked in at 3.99% for 5 years. I believe this is a huge failure on the upper management at TD, not sure if they thought i would be easy and take that ... read more
