Went into the branch to pick up a form to have automatic payment of my TD Visa from my RBC account. I know that the form is available in the branch, it’s on the web site and the person I spoke to at TDVisa confirmed that . I was told by the young man at the counter that I should go to my own bank because I wasn’t a TD client. He did say “well I could print you the form but it won’t do you any good. You don’t have a TD account. “ Poor training ! I expect better from TD
Very bad staff support. I will write a complaint to the Head Office.... Especially the manager Bruce, should have more Customer Support training or should leave their position as a Manager.
This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I fully intend to submit a formal complaint to TD’s corporate office. Also, since when are the only two language options on the phone line Chinese and English? And why does the Chinese option seem to offer significantly more information than the English one? Is this branch operating in China? It’s incredibly disappointing, especially considering that Canada’s official languages are English and French—not Chinese and English. Kevin and the other staff at this branch provided excellent and professional service. I saw people from various backgrounds and languages come in and the staff were friendly and patient with everyone. I was impressed with the service at this branch.
