About as positive an experience a banking trip can be. Quiet and pleasant atmosphere, helpful staff, no long waits, and easy access for mobility challenged persons. Only complaints: parking is small with a tight turnaround required for the drive thru, and only one handicapped parking stall. Other than that... all good.
Staff is usually friendly. I went to deposit a foreign cheque here a few weeks ago and the guy helping me (who mind you, I had just seen maybe 2 months before this interaction) had no idea how to deposit it and it took him 25 minutes to do so. 2 months ago I had the same employee and it took him 5 minutes. Did he forget? The Willowbrook location took 30 seconds to deposit the same type of cheque.
Opening a bank account in foreign countries is always annoying. But this Philippino lady, Ms. Pauline, solved this annoying problem quite easily and with some kind of kindness. Kindness yes it’s very kind of her. Successfully I opened an account here. TD Canada. Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu.
I brought my daughter in today to get her account set up for online banking, get her a direct deposit form, etc (first time adulty type stuff) We had Hudson as our teller. He was so friendly, personable and patient! He answered all our questions and got us in and out very quickly. Thank you Hudson for making our day a little brighter, and a whole lot easier!
