i've been a customer at park and tilford branch for 30+ years and a TD customer for over 40 years. early june i visited the branch and deposited a large cheque written by me, to myself from my other bank. I was told the cheque would require a 5 day hold which i was surprised given my assets with TD as well as having had 2 TD mortgages and my customer loyalty. I was looking for a consult for acquiring a loan and government assistance programs for my small business during covid-19. They paired me with a advisor who was in mortgages (?). They were nice but not helpful. It was not a good experience, I will be taking my future needs financial elsewhere.
