I always greeted with helpful staff. Let's face it all banks are the same in Canada. The fees at all banks are ridiculous. Bank insurance is a rip off, the financial products are a rip off. But all of the big 5 are the same. Sure there is usually a lot of people in training but that's the reality of the current booming economy. I will say the parking stinks here, but other than that.... If your not happy here it will make no difference if you move to one of the others.
i wanted to get text notifications every time a make a purchase or my card is used for security reasons... i told them i dont want to use the app for security vulnerabilities.. ive seen people get their phones hacked with Remote access tools and money gets sent out against their will.. they tell me that online banking is the only way to get these notifications, what a troll system, if i wanted the app i would have it already... i am trying to be as secure as possible with my funds because i dont want any funny business going... read more

Longest lines EVER!!! Ugggghhhhhh. Terrible branch. Do not recommend. For the billions of dollars this company makes, they could HIRE MORE TELLERS.
It is a dingy and depressing branch. (Turner Road Nanaimo) I have never been greeted in a cheery or positive manner. Many times there is only one customer service representative at the counter and a long line up but, I always see staff coming in and out of their offices or from a mysterious location somewhere in the back again, without a greeting or care of how long the lineup is.
