I want to take a moment to recognize Nicky, one of the bank tellers, for her outstanding service. Every time I visit, she makes me feel welcome and goes out of her way to remember her regular customers, which really adds a personal touch. Recently, she helped me resolve an issue with our account, and I was truly impressed by how quickly and efficiently she handled it. Was lied to and told I could withdraw money from my father's RESP when he was traveling overseas. When I tried doing exactly what I was told I was allowed to do, I was informed that I infact WASN'T allowed access to the account, without my father being present. This is ridiculous and cannot be explained as a simple miscommunication as it has serious consequences, with absolutely nobody to take accountability for it. Parth was exceptionally unhelpful and unprofessional. He did not follow the bank’s own process regarding a safety deposit box, and even when he was proven incorrect (by the estate department that he told me to get in contact with) he continued to argue with me. He was solely concerned with trying to tell me he was in fact right, vs fixing the issue that he created. Not impressed, certainly won’t be dealing with TD again.
