Banks in Canada are 'protected' because they provide services, BUT they no longer do as they close branches all over making personal access difficult to virtually impossible.
This branch is undermanned. They have so few people to assist a lot of people. Like an hour before closing and it feels like their offce is ready to close for the day.

I have visited the same branch multiple times in the past to deposit my money orders from Post Canada, always providing proof of receipt. On previous visits, the branch accepted the money orders without any issues or holds, with the teller seeking approval from the branch manager.
