Never come again
Went in to talk about renewing my mortgage. The advisor was late for the appointment, messed up my name several times, and was constantly chatting on MS teams with her coworkers in front of me. I've had more professional service at a Tim Hortons. TD has really gone downhill in the 20 years Ive banked with them
I would strongly advise people to move all their investments and savings to another bank. My mother, 85, has a TFSA with TD. I have legal power of attorney documents, plus doctor certification that she can no longer manage her affairs…yet TD will not release this account to me. Worst TD branch by far. I went to deposit a TD check from a client only to be told there will be a 3 day hold on it. They told me its a new policy ever since they got a new branch manager. Bunch of scammers. I took my check to a different branch and they cleared it right away. No hold nothing as it should be since its a TD check. Avoid this branch at all cost and they should maybe fire the manager asap. This experience was enough for me to finally wanting to close my account and take my business elsewhere
The tellers at this branch seem a bit inexperienced, one loudly announced our bank balance after large deposit after house sale and was asking excessive questions such if we plan on buying another house, that it seemed more being nosy than part of "Standard procedure". Husband also tried to set up a simple direct investing account but the advisor didn't understand what he wanted, and was hassled by the advisor to consider other products such as a GIC that we did not make the appt for, that would not be beneficial to our spec... read more
