The tellers at this branch seem a bit inexperienced, one loudly announced our bank balance after large deposit after house sale and was asking excessive questions such if we plan on buying another house, that it seemed more being nosy than part of "Standard procedure". Husband also tried to set up a simple direct investing account but the advisor didn't understand what he wanted, and was hassled by the advisor to consider other products such as a GIC that we did not make the appt for, that would not be beneficial to our spec... read more
I specifically went in with cash to pay 2 bills that I specifically asked to be deposited then paid directly OUT of my bank account so the bills were posted that day and shown on my account. After leaving the bank I noticed only 1 bill was paid out of my bank account the second bill ( very large ) bill was not posted to my account, after calling TD Canada if they can see it on my account they said no. For years I had over $350,000 combined in my TD savings accounts. Times have become tough, I lost my job, and my savings dwindled down to nothing. I walked into TD to meet with Olga to ask for a small line of credit for $5000 to relocate after years of being a customer.
