Tried to deposit a bank draft into our own business account, just from another bank. I specifically asked them not to place a hold, provided the issuing bank’s business card, and showed proof that the draft was issued just yesterday. Despite our business banking with TD for over 9 years and never having issues at the Chinook branch (they always process it without any pushback after verifying the cheque funds), this branch refused to help. I am frustrated that the ATM’s are not accessible unless the branch is open. Whoever thought it was a good idea to put the ATM outside should try using it in bright sun, cannot see the screen, or in winter when it is 30 below, or when it is raining or at night if you’re afraid of getting mugged. All you had to do folks was put a card reader on your entryway door. So simple.
I went there today to get help with my student accound. I asked for something that I had always been guven and allowed to have at TD fir my circumstances. However, this person tiday said “we don’t do it just because”, and I don’t think anyone woukd lije her tone saying that if they were in my shoes. Avoid at lunch, too many angry Karens attempting to bank. Staff handle it perfectly and professionally, have no doubt.
TD is a horrible corporation and has wasted countless hours of my time and offered little benefit. I have moved my house insurance, vehicle insurance and all banking elsewhere.
